“Natalie Ford has gone way out of the norm in supporting my auditions and work. When I had to audition for ABC’s Astronaut Wives’ Club, the role of Robert Kennedy, not only was she tasked with the usual breaking down of the scenes but she spent hours watching and listening to Robert Kennedy. She picked out news footage for me to focus on. Natalie was relentless on every detail, the accent, the body language, etc. Not only did I book the part, but after filming, I was called in for “looping”, ADR work, and the director asked me if I would do all of Kennedy’s speeches because my accent and voice had an uncanny resemblance to RFK.
Natalie recently asked me to help her with a new young client. Natalie wanted to shoot a scene with her client, so she set up a professional shoot, cameras, lights, location, props( a classic car ), crew etc. Natalie called in another friend, an A- list Director to direct the scene and oversee the edit. Needless to say I was thrilled with working with this Director and I was not doing a favor for Natalie or her client; it was the best work I’ve done in 20 years. Natalie was on set and coaching both of us for the entire evening. We wrapped at 2 AM!
Natalie is not only a meticulous coach, you won’t leave her presence until she’s sure your going to kill the audition or the job, even if it’s beyond the agreed upon allotted time and cost. Natalie’s resources and aggressive ideas in career building is unique. She will make every effort in achieving her clients’ dreams.
